When it comes to sex, British teens have more to deal with than ever before. Our teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases are among the highest in Western Europe and for the first time ever, a generation are learning about sex from porn: 83% of kids will have seen pornography by the time they’re thirteen. To tackle the problem, one Lancashire school has called in Belgian Sexologist and UN Goodwill Ambassador for sexual health, Goedele Liekens.
Goedele is one of Europe’s leading consultants on sex education and believes the UK is the worst pupil in Western Europe. So she will take on a classroom of 15-16 year old British teens, tackling everything from hard-core pornography to sexual pleasure and even attempting to turn her unorthodox lessons into an official GCSE.
